My
Story

I have been aware of spirit since a young child of around four years old when I would speak to “people” I could see but despite my young age I knew this was something that I needed to keep to myself. However when I spent time with my maternal grandparents I was aware I could relax. It wasn’t until I was a little older that I became aware that my grandmother was a medium and my grandfather was a healer. At that is where my journey with Spirit truly began and that journey continues to this day. I now realise that both my grandparents recognised that I was a little different, and relished spending time with grown ups and interacting with them. My grandmother taught me to read the tea leaves while sitting on her lap and my grandfather instructed me in the art of the laying on of hands to take away pain, fear and aid healing. I used to set up my dolls and teddies at bedtime on my bed as I “knew” they came to life at night and would often be positively encouraged to go to sleep. However I did not sleep as I knew there was work to be done and so many hours in a day to complete this work.  I will say that I did not know at this young age what needed to be done, but I knew I was here for a reason and so my quest had become in a gentle way. My grandmother used to tell a story of when I was about five years old that at a Remembrance Service I got very agitated that people were not showing the respect I felt was required to the fallen soldiers and she had to console me. Even today the playing of the Last Post brings me to a place of deep sadness. What I could not have known at this young age was that I had indeed lived another life before this one, and had been a young soldier who fought for his country, and sadly did not return home.

As with most people who are called to work for spirit this part of my life became part of me, and I always knew to listen to my gut, take note of feelings about people or places and just accept that I was always different from other children and people. I often felt a little lonely as other children recognised that I was different, and was never invited to play with them, and therefore found my own entertainment. I began to see that everything had pretty colours around it, and these colours often moved. Again as I grew older I learned that everything was made up of energy, and that is what I was seeing. At lunch break I would happily be found in the school grounds amongst nature and even to this day I am happiest surrounded by nature, trees and animals. Throughout my childhood my grandparents provided great solace as well as the teaching they knew I needed. I was always aware that I only had them for such a short time and would get upset at the thought of losing them. At this point my greatest lesson was explained to me by my grandfather who described death, what happens after, that our loved ones never truly leave us and exist in a different dimension and are always there to talk to or seek advice.

My life continued but when I was 43 I suffered a heart attack at work, and I spent six months recovering from this experience. It was then that my spiritual journey really began again. I found a very important gentleman who I had been told many years before would come into my life and help me negotiate this path. I was given certain information twenty years before so that I would know that this was the instructor I had been waiting for. From that day in 2007 we have developed a close spiritual working relationship where we have helped one another to fulfil our spiritual journey. I began my journey by becoming an accredited healer which led on to my style of healing now which is Trance Healing. The difference that Trance Healing affords me is that I have more advanced guides who I allow to work through me which benefits my clients . The other main difference is that I will tell the client what is affecting them as my guides share this information at the end of the healing session. Clients have shared with me following their healing that they have felt limbs being moved or like other hands working in areas of their body where they have had an injury or pain. This healing in the past couple of years has included working on animals which have included dogs, cats and to the other extreme horses . Again when doing this work I always ask for minimal information as my healing guides will take me to the area that is causing the animal distress. Clients have shared with me that the information I have provided has helped them to discuss with other professionals and addressing any concerns. A friend rang me very distressed that her Frenchie was unable to get up and seemed paralysed. She had taken it to a vet that morning and this is something I strongly recommend that other professionals are involved, but the vet had recommended that her dog who was only two years of age be put to sleep which was so upsetting and shocking to her. So I went to see if I was able to offer any assistance and after scanning the little dogs body I was told very strongly that their was an injury at the neck and not the lower back as suggested. I worked solidity for a week in person and from distance as well as accompanying  her to the vets on two separate occasions. She requested a second opinion from a different vet and he agreed that the first assessment was incorrect . So with the combination of veterinary care and healing from my guides a little life was saved. As a part of this animal healing I have developed the ability to communicate with the animals I am asked to see. An ex race horse who I was asked to see told me that the bit she had in was causing pain and triggered previous abuse she had suffered as a young horse. A new bit was purchased, filing of her teeth was completed and her owner says she is now a much happier horse, and all the behavioural issues that had been happening have stopped. As a result she has a better relationship with her horse.

I am also a working Medium who over many years has developed a very close working relationship with my guides, Celestine a 13th Centaurus Nun, a Native American Chief called Crazy Horse, St Francis of Assisi and St Peter. I have many others who help me with different aspects of my work and these include deceased relatives. I am currently working with my friend as we go to different Spiritualist churches to pass on evidence of survival and comfort to those that are grieving. It is deeply satisfying to help a person realise that their loved one still exists and they can still speak to them and ask advice. Spirit cannot interfere in our lives unless we give them permission. For many who have lost ones the knowledge that they are still around, and see what they are doing gives great comfort and knowledge that we will be reunited one day in the spirit world but only if this is something you desire.

Over the past ten years I have worked closely with my friend Dave to establish a Spirit house clearance service in and around Northamptonshire. We are often called by home owners directly or through contacts at The Spiritualist National Union (SNU) and various other denomination churches when houses are unsettled in their energy due to former deceased residents have not left... Being able to work for Spirit in this way, and use the skill set I have developed over nearly twenty years leaves me feeling blessed and humbled, and that finally I have found the work I was always meant to do on this earth at this time.
